The government is corrupt? What else are we to expect?

Politicians have been screaming for years that the government we left behind in Iraq is corrupt, but hey, that’s how they do things in the Middle East. Iraq has still had successful elections, successful hand overs in power, and nothing at all like a coup.

Egypt will continue to have a military ran government. It will allow elections, allow politicians to run for office, but the military essentially runs Egypt. In their case, it’s not a bad thing. The Egyptian military runs factories. They make everything, like refrigerators, toaster ovens, DVD and VHS players, and all sort of appliances that Egyptians use on a daily basis, nearly 20% of the economy is ran by the military. Here we would ask, “Why would the military make refrigerators?” There they would ask, “Why wouldn’t they make them?”

It’s going to be ugly. It’s going to be corrupt. Our western politicians may mock Egypt as being a democracy as they take bribes from the lobbyist whore they’re bedding down with. However, it’s how they run things that’s important.

What do you expect when you’re running a country on Windows O_o
    That’s the entire problem.
    Switch to linux
    sudo rm /etc/init.d/dictator
    sudo touch /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-dictator
    all fixed.
