You fail because those shows didn’t come on in the same time frame.
I think that was the point. Ben must be in his 30s, while those who watched Doug are most likely either in their 20s, or 30s and spent too much time living in their mom’s basement.

I was born in ’90 and I remember the Thundercats. Are you sure? Well, CN was known for keeping the good ones alive.
I was quite old when Doug was on but still watched it anyway because it was a quality show.
I’m in my 30′s and I watched Doug for the same reason. It was the best thing on at the time.
I’ve never even heard of this show called “Doug.” It wasn’t on when I was a kid. We had “Captain Kangaroo” when I was a kid.
I liked the bunny. He had the best lines in the show. Even better than Mr Greenjeens…
Yeah, was Doug on cable or something? I remember stuff about it, but it was always like In-N-Out Burger or the Ralph’s grocery store – I’d *only* heard about it, it never had anything to do with me. (I’m in the midwest.)
Bangin’ on a Trashcan was a song Doug and Skeeter wrote. Now if the comment said, “Killer Tofu” or “Where’s My Sock” that would be different.
i’m going to reply to everyones comment that said “bangin’ on a trashcan wasn’t a beets song”… because he did say “if they don’t COVER” that song.. a “cover” of a song usually means performed by someone other than the original artist.

Poor Doug was always on the brink of a mental breakdown. The kid had anxiety issues and low self-esteem, he wallowed in self-deprecating thought and frequently took refuge in a fantasy world…I always watched in worry that he’d go Columbine on everyone.
Man, I always hated Doug. And I hate people who post lousy, unoriginal jokes in the comments on Failbook. It’s not funny, you’re just embarrassing. I’m glad I’m not one of you guys.
