    good game…noob.

  2. Corporate Whore says:

Well, given Henry would run into error with file deletion given that his computer is running off of System32 files, this posting is “technically” a fail…but did produce an Amish type virus smile on my face. Just tell him to delete the whole C: drive to save space…

    • Brian-M says:

The computer is running off System32 files that have been loaded into RAM. There shouldn’t be a problem deleting them. The problem comes when Windows tries to load a file that is no longer there, or when he reboots the computer, and there’s no files on the hard drive to load into RAM.

(I’m just assuming here. I haven’t actually tried it myself.)

    • Chuck says:

its true, if you try, the computer is basically like “what are you, stupid?”

  3. Dänemarker says:

    Hilarious!

  4. Hello says:

    This is just evil LOL

  5. Bateras says:

if someone doesnt know that, he/she deserves it XD

    • Horatio says:

Because everyone needs to get a certificate before being allowed to use social media…

He should totally defriend them once he gets another computer.

      • mudkipman says:

you know you can just reinstall windows, right?

        • Mwa says:

He is probably that stupid he’ll think he needs another computer.

          • Horatio says:

If someone doesn’t know deleting Win32 files messes up your computer, I doubt their first response will be to reinstall their OS.

        • Octavio says:

You don’t have to at all. If you know about technology and computers, you would know that since windows vista, it’s impossible to erase system32, and I think they patched it for XP, and if you are so stupid to erase it, it only denies some processes of the computer, not all of the operative system, those processes can be recovered just by reinstalling them, but not the whole operative system

          • child catcher says:

it is not impossible nothing with computers is impossible they follow what you tell it to do. so if you cant delete them then you are to stupid to work out how. take control via permissions including heuristics and archives would certainly allow you to delete any file not in use. Nerd fight ftw!

          • Z says:

Operative system? Is that like… a policy they have in the hospital?

      • Anon :D says:

Well I think you should. Save tech support all the face palms

  6. your face says:

    Brilliant!

  7. Giggidy says:

Oh gosh. What does deleting system 32 do? I assume it causes a mini nuclear fusion of some sort.

  8. Humm. says:

Not that bad if you have just part of it uninstalled… I guess. I’m not expert but I know my computer is missing a part and still works fine, has worked for at least a few months but every time I turn it on an error-message comes up telling me that it can’t find row-32.exe or something in the Windows. And something also says that it can’t start up.

I’ve just ignored them though, and my tactic seems to be working.

  9. Wat says:

If you didn’t understand this joke you should press Alt + F4 on your keyboard, it should come up with a prompt that’ll explain a bit more about System 32.

  10. Olly says:

    layer-eight problem :)

  11. Bolt says:

The system critical files in the system32 folder cannot be deleted when Windows is running, anyway. So go ahead and try to delete it – nothing will happen.

This post is a fail, in THAT way! Those geeks are not nerds; they don’t know shit about shit.

    Shitty.

    • Xtifr says:

And yet, I had no trouble deleting them from my system, and indeed saw a major improvement in performance by replacing them with files that had names like vmlinuz and /lib/ld-linux.so.2.

I admit I’m heavily biased, and many will disagree with me, but I think his friends were right–the most effective way to improve performance on a Windows-based system is to get rid of Windows! :)

  13. Michael says:

Actually, the command is — format c:

  14. Scott says:

Another fail on this one is that defragging doesn’t make your computer perform faster, it just frees up space on your hard disc. It might slightly reduce your seek time, but most people don’t concern themselves with that, especially not the tool who had the problem.

  15. AAAAAA says:

    I have system64

  16. Octavio says:

I have a nice troll for those who find the computer of a friend alone and that you could perform a good prank to them:

    1)Press ctrl+alt+del
    2)go to task manager
    3)go to processes
    4) delete explorer.exe

Your friends computer now only show background and it can’t do anything else that turning it off.

To solve it just press the windows banner button+r
There should appear a window that says run
    type: explorer.exe
    fixed

It’s a nice troll if you wanna get someone scared lol

  17. Penelope says:

When I was working tech support I had to listen to this. It was so great for helping me through those tough calls with people who didn’t know about computers… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1LLTsSnGWMI

  18. oh yea says:

alt+f4 if you want to refresh your web page….

  19. daweefolk says:

    sudo rm -rf /*

  20. Crispy-chan says:

Okay, i have no freaking idea what system 32 is. XD (hey, i’m not stupid, i’m just not a computer-person! XD)

  21. Noir says:

This was not funny, just really mean. I hope Henry didn’t really delete it.

  22. chris says:

thats a massive achievement to actually delete your system 32 folder though. windows makes it near impossible. though, i haven’t tested trying to delete it through linux ]:)
