normally i would find this rather sweet, but after only dating someone for two weeks, it’s a tad creepy x3 although i dont know how long they actually know each other. suppose it’s better than the guy i have on my facebook who has a new girlfriend about every week or so, and always posts “I love soooooo much!”

It’s depressing how true this is. I have a female friend who posted a status about “who r people 2 say how old u have to be 2 be in love????? my age shouldnt matter i no if i love someone” and then posted, like, a week later, “happy 1 month aniversery!!!!!!” There were many “u mean the world to me my 1 and only forever and ever” posts around this time.
Then she cheated on him.

Pathetic thing is.. people actually do this.. My niece’s profile is like this.. changes boyfriends every week- 2 weeks and within the first day she “loves him so much.” /facepalm

Okay, while I can tell that Blue seems to “fall in love” pretty easily and often, I knew I had found my husband on the night I met him. We wasted no time in waiting to say “I love you” and we’ve been together for a year and a half now (living together for all but 4 of those months) so LAY OFF the negativity about the 2 weeks thing! (Even though I’m sure y’all are right about this particular person)
This guy is 21. Sarah is 16. This is the fourth underage girl he’s said this about via facebook in four months.
People who think they are in love right away and want to commit too fast are usually very insecure and feel the need to impose solidity by saying I love you or moving in together or getting married. I was a couple’s counsellor and every couple I saw did one of these things way ahead of schedule. If you’re really meant to be together forever, why not wait before rushing in.
I agree! It’s good to take it slow, but after hanging out with this guy for a few days, I realized I was in love with him & wanted to be with him the rest of my life…even so…I chose to take things slow!
I actually know the story behind this. Its a 21 year old who literally prowels the highschools and picks up girls between the ages of 14 and 16 (17 is the oldest to date) and dates them for a month, tells them how madly in love he is and then dumps them (probably after the put out though he insists its not true) and says “I just didn’t think she was the one. True story.
