Yeah there’s some really ridiculous stuff that gets auto-corrected on the iPhone. I’ve gotten into the habit where if a word I want to use is even slightly off day-to-day vernacular I wait for the little tab of “This is what we want to auto-correct to” to come up so I can just click it off and not have to backspace and fix it twice.
People need to learn to watch the screen as they type and fix their words. I sent a text on my non-iPhone with predictive spelling that said “flowers” instead of “closers” when telling my girlfriend my schedule. She posted to my wall asking if I meant to say “flowers”? That’s the last time I don’t double-check my text or post before I send it.
But surely, when they keep releasing new versions of the same product, with each version supposedly being more convenient and easier to use than the last…
You shouldn’t have to proof-read and edit simple texts like an article.
failphone?
Indeed.
I’m starting to think there’d be enough material for a whole new site…
THE GAME – YOU JUST LOST
no, u and UR MOM lost the game (Please spare me grammar Nazis.)
Nah, iPhone.
Exactly. Failphone. Better known as cryphone though…
DAMNNNN
Only if she accidentally typed “pebis”…
Nah, “pedis” gets auto-corrected, too.

That’s why one of the first things I did when I got my iTough was disable the auto-correct. That way if I screw up, I have only myself to blame.
i c wat u did thar.
alternatively, FAIL

I usually check, but sometimes I still miss a word or two. It happens. Nobody is perfect.

Awesomeness.
Blame auto-correct.
This is why the Blackberries rule!
If I were her husband I would be more troubled with the !!!! referring to a pedicure.
She’s excited about a pedicure, and that would trouble you why?
Because they’re expensive of course.
the husband’s comment was so funny. i couldn’t stop laughing. i could see my boyfriend having the same reaction.
iFail
This is the first fail that actually made me lol in a while. Like, months.
Personably, I thing predictive-tent is supper. It hasn’t failure me yet.
too bad the iphone doesn’t auto correct the word pedis to say penis. I checked. This is fake.
So…iFraud?
I can’t help but think that if she’d just made the effort to put in “pedicures” instead of being lazy that this wouldn’t have happened.
Totally fake. Iphone changes pedis to pesos but that’s it.
