Once he gets done clearing out the last dungeon, he was going to come over and ask me. But proposing, in character, atop the High Elf Tower was magical.
Oh goodness… It pains me that I recognized this as a reference to Dungeons and Dragons (I think??), but at least I can say that I have never played it.
I can understand this actually… my mother was opposed to my having any sort of romantic interests while I was in college, so I delayed telling her about my girlfriend for sometime, and didn’t tell her I was planning to ask her to marry me until after the fact. It was just easier that way.
i knew my husband and I were getting engaged because he went home to his parents’ house to get his grandmother’s engagement ring and he asked my father. and the saturday before was his holiday party for work and one of his friends was like hey! thursdays the biiig night huh?!
The thing that strikes me the most is that she added “he’s gonna ask in person because he wants to do it the right way”… I thought it was the only way. Personnally, if my girlfriend (well, the tradition says it would be me but perhaps she’d be a little crazy?) proposed I wouldn’t even answer if it was through Facebook.
WHAT A SAD SAD PEROSN

Modern day priorities. Facebook friends need to know first, before your parents!

So romance isn’t dead after all.

C-c-combo breaker!
(Something about other than just British people think Americans are stupid)
(Crumpet Joke)
(Retort to racist comments even though Kent started it with the Americans)
(Trolling comment in attempt to upset Durka)
This one has been on here before.
There could be a couple options here, but I really hope that it was over text that he proposed, as that would be the funniest.
She must be marrying a Montague.
Green must be Friar Laurence…
So then they’re just not engaged yet then…
Plus isn’t popping the question moments usually a surprise?
