Remember in Myspace how you automatically added founder Tom? Well, Facebook doesn’t do that for you, but it seems that users cannot block Mark Zuckerberg, no matter how you try. If you do, you end up with an error message.
UPDATE: Looks like Facebook has responded, and here is their official answer,
“This error isn’t specific to any one account. It’s generated when a person has been blocked a certain large number of times. In very rare instances, a viral campaign will develop instructing lots of people to all wrongly block the same person. The purpose of this system is to protect the experience for people targeted by these campaigns. We’re constantly working to improve our systems and are taking a closer look at this one.”
So Zuckerberg couldn’t be blocked due to already being blocked too many times for the system to handle. How ironic.

Only a real geek would set up a social network website where everybody had to friend him

Given the opportunity, I’d block Mark Zuckerberg. I’d block him several times in a row. I’d block him all night. Heck, I’d even block him the next morning, right on the breakfast table for good measure.
I second that!
We don’t want to hear about your weird fetishes.
I think Tom doesn’t have any real friends …
i actually tryed this and got an error.
Might be important that you can still get messages from him though, like “Facebook is gonna be down” or “Log off for a while gaiz”
It could be so that actual information gets through when needed and so that people know that all the ‘Facebook will start charging from’ status’ and messages your friends send are just spam and are false.
He sends you these messages? =( He’s never sent me any messages. I feel unloved and unwanted.
Not yet, but i’ve gotten them from other sites, so it’s likely.
I think I’d rather be friends with Tom.
If you try to block Mark Zuckerberg it’s a fan page but his actual profile is Marktwat Zuckerberg and I was able to block that no problem. News Fail.
The only result for “Marktwat Zuckerberg” is a protest account. It says so right in the bio. I’m afraid the fail is yours.
i re iterate who is *scrolls to the top and copy’s the name and enters it in the comment field* Mark Zuckerberg
Mark Zuckerberg is the CEO of Facebook.
You can’t block him because he’s the CEO of Facebook. What if he needs to contact you about your profile or something? This isn’t a fail at all. <___<
Chuck Norris can block him.
He tried to ban Chuck Norris, and Chuck Norris banned him from the Internet.
i dont give a sh!t if i can block him. even if i could block him i’m sure there’s some way he could still contact me….he is the frigging programmer/CEO, afterall.
There’s a way you can block this Doucher!……its called C**K BLOCKING
He’s the founder of Facebook. Ok. So what? Does he know me? Does he even care that I’m on Facebook? I got a Mac at home but I’d still kick Steve Jobs out my home if he came uninvited…
LMAO
ia.
Obviously this is an inside Joke. I am sure if you were able to block Mark Z, he could still easiily hack your FB at will and leave posts about how much more money he has than you.
What did he do?
I think the point we’re all missing here is that they set up a system where by if someone is hated enough to be ignored by a LARGE group of people (think Osama bin Laden level of dislike) their system will stop allowing you to dislike that person and force you to allow their messages. What kind of fascist system is this? Everyone in the interweb hates you so we’ll force them to listen to you? Screw you facebook!
I have already blocked Mark Zuckerberg. Pray I do not block him any further.
I didnt even know his name before this anyways f**k him no need to block him just ignore him he’ll end up killin himself.
Probably gonna hang himself with an usb mouse or delete chuck noriss account.
Fail? Maybe. But would Failbook even exist without Mr. Zuckerberg. Hmmm.
