To be fair, if you are the kind of person who watches The Bachelorette, you probably haven’t heard much about Eleanor Roosevelt.

Ah, the sign of an impending dropout…
oh
idiot
Way to not proclaim your firstness!! I salute you.
Also, that is not just an idiot…that person is some kind of retarded idiot, like a retardiot or something.
What an epic loser!!
Dumbass.
No intelligent person would ever watch a show like that.
She needs OLYMPIC GOLD in stupidity for even watching that show.
Im going to go put all the guys on the show in the Ankle Lock.
Ill think about Angle Slamming the girl.
Because im just a sexy Kurt
(Sexy Kuuuurrrrt)
Ill make your ankle hurt
(Ankle huuuurrrt)
I doubt the chick from The Bachelorette cited her sources, to be fair to the failbooker.
perhaps.
Not everyone loves history, I get that. I dislike math & science, probably because I wasn’t very talented with those two subjects.
My problem with this isn’t that she didn’t know Eleanor Roosevelt is the source, my problem is that she cited The Bachelorette in a lit paper.
If I were her teacher, I would deduct 10% for using that as a source.
You, sir, deserve an award for this statement.
Tardis what are you doing here?
Doctor, I have something important to tell you.
This woman represents the very worst in humanity.
when the Daleks return, don’t save her.
I see what you did thar
You know, Cardiff, wibbely wobbley timey whimey…..Have to figure out how to open the rift to refuel.
You know what they say…those who forget history are doomed to repeat it. In summer school.
Witty.
Perhaps.
First of all, why do people watch this horses**t? No relationship that comes out of these shows ever last.
I don’t think that’s the most important reason for not watching it…
Let’s face it, I doubt the chick from The Bachelorette (whatever that word actually means) even knew her course to be able to site it…
(“chicken wang”…?)
*cite
LOL
When has anybody from “the Bachelorette” ever had an original thought?
They have tons of original thoughts. In the same way 10000 monkeys on typewriters have tons of original words.
The worst thing is, she actually (probably) thinks the bachelorette is real… Reality TV is faker than south park…
^
AGREED +10000000000000
Plus I’ve been hearing that this seasons Bachelorette has been engaged long-term the whole time.
You mean South Park isn’t real? Damn…
The problem is that her brand of stupidity isn’t trademarked. When a culture as a whole forgets its history, it’s doomed. We are truly F-ed, if not today, then definitely in the next two decades.
such faith in the youth of the nation.
I think we’re already screwed.
Pretty much. While you were out watching the Bachellorette, somebody siphoned off all my money and packaged it in derivatives now living in a Cayman Islands account. Thanks a lot, jerks.
I’m honestly shocked that anyone on The Bachelorette would ever have anything that intelligent to say. Quoted from another person or not…
All my current knowledge about the world outside my door comes from “the Bachelorette”!!
The internet has sadly become society’s collective memory and knowledge base. Most people have probably seen that quotation attributed to Eleanor Roosevelt, but why would they bother to learn it or even remember it when it’s on the internet…
I think a lot of people remember it’s by Eleanor Roosevelt b/c they said so on the Princess Diaries… I know that’s why *I* remembered the attribution when I saw it! *hides*
As the late Wilson wrote on failbook.com during a seemingly normal day in July of 2010, a day that would mark the beginning of the end for homo sapiens, “The great tragedy of life is that the inferior don’t consent to being what they are.”
Haha. Excellent. Though let’s be realistic here. I’m pretty sure you can make someone feel inferior without their permission. Eleanor was clearly an optimist.
I question the intelligence of anyone who watches Reality TV. Not to mention actually quotes one of the apes from such a show.
she deserves to have her tv and internet taken away so maybe she’ll go actually learn something
Eleanor Roosevelt? Isn’t she the winner of the last season of The Bachelor?
*snort!*
Nice one!
Yeah, the real fail is definitely that she quoted a stupid show, and even cited it IN THE PAPER as a quote from a stupid show. If she was going to steal quotes, she really would have been better off pretending it was hers.
She bombed her final for sure, unless the topic was something about ridiculous “reality” TV shows..
Well, at least she cited her source…
That was the line she said when she refused to get off the bus, right?
That was the line she used when she refused to get off the bus, right?
awesome
I can’t believe somebody thought it was a good idea to quote a TV show in a term paper. If I was a professor, I would deduct marks for that.
Even if the chick from The Bachelorette HAD said it originally, I’m horribly saddened that anyone would think it was appropriate to use it as a quote in a Lit paper.
f**kin dumbass, what the hell are you doing in a class thats not for the the mentally ill?
I fear for humanity.
Hello, everyone! I’m here to spread the wonderful word of equality! Did you know that all humans are equal? It’s true! No one person is greater or lesser than another! Isn’t that great?! God made us that way, and God expects us to treat each other that way, so make sure you’re kind to everyone you see!
Do you believe in equality? Good! Let’s make this world a better place and spread the word together that all human beings are equal!
FALSE – I’m inclined to believe I’m better than everyone – Thank you very much.
DOUBLE FALSE – God is nothing but a voice in your head, thus making you crazy and me the more sane one. As our mental health is as different as dogs and cats, we are in no way equal. I’m therefor the greater of us, since you are a false prophet of lies and deceit. and brain damage.
And I am not going to take lessons in equality from someone who dubbs themself “The Queen”.
Study the French Revolution at all?
Signed, The Peasant with the Guillotine
Hah. Historicaly SERVED.
I totally agree. I never listened to the queen either.
I believe in equality with the equal certainty that I believe you are a troll.
And yet you’re still happy to feed it.
A woman is like a tea bag – you can’t tell how strong she is until you put her in hot water… E. Roosevelt
Ghandi also said something along those lines…
I hope you know Gandhi said it first not Eleanor Roosevelt.
The MRS. programs always seems to have a Lit.-class requirement.
I don’t know about that, I feel like everybody that watches the Bachelorette doesn’t have much to do other than memorize random quotes.
Actually, I watch more TV than I probably should *or at least have it on as background noise* and I can honestly say that I don’t watch ANY reality television. The very IDEA of these shows is enough to make feel my IQ dropping.
I know I can’t be alone in this, so why is it so hard to believe that the options are “watch at least SOME reality television” or “watch no television at all”?
Trust me, there’s plenty on that has nothing to do with reality tv.
Your tv must be made of s**t because I watch a lot of TV without watching any Reality bulls**t tv that’s made for dumbasses.
Agreed. Sitcoms, Supernatural, NCIS and Glee. I spend plenty o time watching TV, and unless I’m stuck at my mom’s during America’s Got Talent, not a one of them is a reality show.
