No offence, but the person was saying “haha” to the “hiiiiiiii” party.
That’s why you need to use proper grammar and line spacing, otherwise they get confused as being the same sentence, when that first part obviously had nothing to do with the second part.
No, what Steven is saying is that because it’s a message, it can only have been submitted by the one who received it, which is the one whose grandma died.
I laugh when people die. I made jokes while sitting in the hospital the night my dad died… I made jokes the day my mom died… I make jokes. My whole family does… it’s just how we deal with grief, so maybe laughter was appropriate in their book??
Maybe they started off a sentence and then decided on another one and held backspace but they didn’t erase all of it and they didn’t notice because they were already typing and they were looking at the keyboard because they’re not that good at typing. It’s happened to me before. Or maybe the guy is just an America Idiot.
I bet he put the “haha” there without even noticing he did it. You see people using chatspeak these days and they use “lol” instead of periods. “So my grammy died lol the fnral was soooooo sad!!1 lol rip grammy (((“
I use a lot of LoL’s, but never as a period… I’m pretty sure it’s inappropriate no matter what language you use… I’ve also had a lot of people and friends of friends die this year, none of them spoke like that easier. If your friends speak like that, I think maybe you need some classier friends.
No, I’m just generalizing. I see comments on websites every once in a while where it’s pretty obvious that the person posting either types “lol” unconsciously or doesn’t know what “lol” means, because it’s everywhere. They don’t necessarily replace periods with “lol,” but “lol” tends to indicate the end of a thought.
True dat.
I’ve got a friend that ends almost every sentence when chatting with “haha” Drives me crazy and that’s exactly what I thought of when I saw the OP, just another person who uses chatspeak without thinking.
Maybe laughing is how he deals with grief?
Predictive text messaging ftw
Don’t they share the same grandma, though?
Judging by their same last name, I’m guessing their related on the father’s side and it was the mother’s mother who passed…
The first Jimenez shouldn’t have tried to be funny, nonetheless.
Maybe he just spelled “hello” wrong. With the todays grammar, you can never know.
“Haha, may I speak to Janice?”
“Hey, cousin!”
“with the todays grammar” – you can’t make this s**t up.
No offence, but the person was saying “haha” to the “hiiiiiiii” party.

The dead grandma posted this? You can now facebook from beyond the grave? FAIL!!!
it might not have been them, they have the same last name.
No, what Steven is saying is that because it’s a message, it can only have been submitted by the one who received it, which is the one whose grandma died.
or the person who sent it…
You can tell by the length of the blurred names that it was the person whose grandma died.

Yeah, this wasn’t a joke.
Or laughter.
It was someone typing ‘haha’.
(and not using any punctuation.)
Maybe they started off a sentence and then decided on another one and held backspace but they didn’t erase all of it and they didn’t notice because they were already typing and they were looking at the keyboard because they’re not that good at typing. FAKE! failbook is going down hill now
Nah, you’re just a complete dumbass is all.
well said.
And you’re ugly.
Makes me think of the Joker in the latest Batman movie
true… he died
Make the death any cooler? Her death was cool to him?
Konsidering the amount of money he’d get from the late Grandma’s will.
Are you really going K for the word ‘considering’?
Why would you spell considering with a ‘K?’ They’re not even close to each other on the keyboard to say your finger slipped.
Why are you that bothered by a K?
Maybe they were champion for their elementary school’s spelling bee kontest.
Ah.. old memories.
‘Kause I’d mistakenly hit the wrong key.
You can so tell that the first guys pic is the album cover of American idiot by green day.
Yeah, that’s the first thing I noticed!

I got the impression he was saying ‘haha’ because of the long ‘HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII’ he’d put as the title
Like we didn’t know that was the ‘American Idiot’ album artwork.
That’s what I was thinking. Why bother blurring it? Is there someone walking around with a face that looks like a heart-shaped grenade?
i was reading through the comments and thought i was the only one who noticed
i love that album.
Yeah, I read all the way down to here just to look for someone saying that. Props for being awesome, guys.
Anyone notice they have the same last name, meaning same grandmother?
@Ziggles
Haha, I thought I was the only one who noticed.
