  1. A. says:

    *facepalm*

  2. Dust says:

I’d say France Win or some serious Italy Fail

  3. Mr Obvious says:

In Pisa, in fact. You know. Paris i a city. Italy a country.

It’s probably easier to mistake Pisa and Paris, compared to Paris and Italy. ;)

That said, thinking the leaning tower of Pisa is in Paris, and also not knowing how to spell Paris does warrant a *big* facepalm.

    Suffer the children…

  4. stackmonster says:

It was uploaded via mobile, lol. She probably took the picture.

  5. Oh, they probably think every city in Europe is called Paris.

    • Mike says:

      Or London :D

As soon as you say you live near Liverpool everyone American assumes you LOVE the Beatles to ¬_¬

      Paris* also

      • Mike says:

        everyone in America*

        fail, I know

        • almoore says:

C’mon, who doesn’t love the Beatles?

        • Pathetic-humans says:

Actually, it sounds fine both ways. Well, sorta. Both work nonetheless, with some iffy grammar on the first one, so not much of a fail.

        • Johann says:

Facepalm for you for the sweeping generalization. Not all Staters are that assumptive.

Oh, you also receive a self-correction fail for catching one but not both spelling/grammar errors.

          • middkdr says:

Sorry, Johann, but *facepalm* for use of the term “Staters”. Unless it’s a saying from a foreign country that I have never visited (granted, totally possible), or a term used in some portion of the U.S., to which I have never been (also totally possible), I have never heard anyone use the term “Staters” before. Though the Alaskan’s do use “The Lower 48″ a lot…
I’m actually kind of curious where that term is used – anyone?

  6. Also, did you notice she misspelled “Paris”?

  7. k. says:

In fact, she took a picture with her mobile phone OF the picture.
    But yeah, fail…

  8. lukoiwhim says:

    Ooooh, that’s a fail alright!

  9. jax says:

could be mobile but it looks like a snapshot of a picture so…
    either way..*facepalm*

  10. asstard says:

    thats a neck

  11. Guti says:

lol, he spelled “Paris” wrong XD

  12. Christian says:

Probably just their idea of a joke. It would be really hard to be that dumb.

    • Truth says:

They could just be hard of hearing. So when their kids said “Pisa” they heard “Paris”.

It’s not that much of a stretch, especially if they hadn’t heard of Pisa, but had heard of Paris.

      • Amber says:

I’d say they just thought it was actually in Paris
and Pisa and Paris sound nothing alike, they probably thought “big famous building in Europe” and assumed it was in France

  13. Sunnyale says:

Not even the same country hahaha
Why is it that most americans think Europe is a country?

    • sim says:

      because it will be

    • Jane says:

Why is it that people from other countries think that they have any idea about ‘most Americans?’ I don’t personally know a single person who would mistake Europe for a country.

      • Lisa says:

I do, in fact, know of several people who think Europe is a country! They just happen to be under the age of 8 and haven’t studied geography yet!!

        • Hey says:

I unfortunately know someone over 30 who asked me if Europe was a continent or not and if I had to fly across water to get to the US… :-( (
She’s a very nice woman otherwise.

      • Amber says:

when my grandad worked in America he met someone who thought England was a 10 minute boat ride away because they’d heard the expression “across the pond”
he also got asked how much 12 acres of land would cost here by a guy who was reading about Madonna’s estate

  14. tumadre says:

    OMG I know them!!!

  15. saltyseadawg says:

    ^ fail by association

    •It is a mobile upload
    •This is a pic of a pic
    Anything new?

  19. Authentic says:

  28. Smarter then thou says:

    It’s in Holland … it’s a windmill …
Ok ok … not really funny but I’ll post it anyway !

  29. Candy says:

They may actually be in Paris at a Legoland or similar type set up because the leaning Tower of Pisa is on a straight plain with only the Pisa cathedral and baptistry in front of it. No grassy hills and buildings. :/

  30. Kitty says:

Is it just me or is the Eiffel Tower leaning a bit too much?

  31. p-dawg says:

there is an arrow on the map pointing at her ass
