  1. Talen says:

    never mind the gang sign….

  2. Aye User says:

Bullshit, look at the “Parent” profile pic.

  3. Dayna says:

Looks the parent is kissing a small child in their profile picture….thats so weird!

  4. AWesome says:

From the looks of the Parent profile pic it’s a small child, a baby or something that he’s kissing.

    • andy_roy says:

Wait till this child grows up and decides to go his/her brothers’ way…

I can see another grounding on the horizon.

  5. Jj Castillo says:

lmao.. I was confused for a sec because I’m in Germany/

  6. Thomas says:

It’s his profile picture, not like it’s a tagged photo or what-not

  7. Kelly McCoy says:

I just thought the same…the “parent” pic is not a “parent” at all….c’mon, Failbook, get your act together!

  8. meeeee says:

And this is why you should not add parents or family on facebook.

  9. Faith Long says:

There is nothing wrong in my opinion about kissing your child. There isn’t any “tongue action!” Come on!!!

  10. Amber says:

What is wrong with the ‘parent’ picture? She is only allowed to have one kid, a 17 year old? She could have a 17 year old, and then a much smaller child, say around 2 that she is giving a kiss in her picture.

    I fail to see a problem…

  11. Kitty says:

Man, if you’re gonna post pictures of yourself drinking while underage, whether your parents are apt to see it or not, at least post pictures of yourself drinking something *good* while underage.

  12. Lostprophets Ryan says:

This is normal in the UK. By the age of 13 they are drinking…

    • Alice says:

Exactly. I didn’t even bat an eyelid at this. She should be glad it wasn’t a stronger drink like vodka, or that a younger relative wasn’t involved.

(Who the heck grounds a 20-year old that isn’t even their son?)

  13. sylvester says:

lol…in philippines there is no drinking age… :P

  14. Mortan says:

In Spain, the drinking age is 16 for 15º drinks. And 18 for the rest.
The age for legal consented sex is 13.

    You ‘USAdians’ are weird.

    • Carmen says:

Nope. It used to be 16 for beer and wine. That changed in 2002. Since then the drinking age is 18.

    • Jess says:

Agreed. And I live here. :/

    • Envy says:

You mean Americans, right? Because drinking age in Canada is 18/19, and sexual consent just got boosted from 14 to 16.

    • Its all relative really. To us ‘USAdians’, ‘Spainians’ are the weird ones. We just cant trust a sophomore in high school with a beer. But I kind of agree actually. The best way not to become an alkie later in life is to introduce them to alcohol at a young age. I think.

      • Lindsay says:

Statistically, the *exact* opposite is true. The younger a person begins drinking the MORE likely they are to abuse alcohol later in life. I grew up in the US but have spent time in Germany- the general attitude towards alcohol in Europe and especially Germany is so different. They see it primarily as a beverage, we see it primarily as a mood altering substance. Also, Germany has much, much, MUCH stricter laws than the US regarding alcohol induced criminal behavior- like DWIs.

      • Q says:

Sorry but you’re an idiot. That’s the best way to make them one.

The best way to prevent kids from becoming “alkie” later is education.

    • Geez says:

Hey! Don’t diss Canada. Our drinking age is 18 for Quebec and 19 for almost the rest of the country.

Most people start drinking at 16.

I don’t get why that parent is so uptight.

      • Carmen says:

Well, One thing is to know kids are drinking. Probably she had a beer at 17 too, but, her job as a mother is to educate her son. So, punishment for being stupid seems like the right answer.

    • The Amazing Rando says:

Yeah, I guess I’m just pretty uptight and all, but the thought of 13 year olds having sex is just gross.

  15. Paigee says:

In Australia the legal drinking age is 18. I’m actually not surprised that the guy in the top photo is 17…

  16. Assam says:

In France, the drinking and buying age is 16 for minus 15° alcohol (wine, beer ….), and 18 for the rest.
that’s not shocking to drink a beer at 17 and 20.
my parents propose me to drink (good) wine from 15.
Usa are weird for that, you can drive at 16, but drink at 21.

  17. asteroid says:

Big fricking deal. In other parts of the world you’ve got infants downing shots of vodka legally and this ‘concerned parent’ is being a prick about some dudes drinking washed down piss.

  18. Ryuga says:

In Italy is also quite normal drinking a can of beer at 14-15…

Weird thing is, in USA you are deemed responsible enough to drive and handle guns at 16, but you have to wait ’till 21 to drink alcohol :P

  19. Renegade says:

How do i post a fail that shows in the home page????

  20. Fail # 1 – You’re drinking Natural Light…wtf
    Fail # 2 – You’re flashing a “what up” sign and you’re white
    Fail # 3 – You got caught.

    Just stop trying

  21. The Amazing Rando says:

So the fail on this one is drinking Natty Light, right?

    • elg3 says:

Yep, one slurp and you know it’s not beer, it’s “Homogenized Partially Processed Low-Calorie Imitation Beer Drink” …

      • The Amazing Rando says:

I’ve heard it said that Natty Light is what you switch to when you’re drunk enough to no longer notice how shitty it tastes. I guess I’ve never been that drunk.

      • Captain Slog says:

“Is that my 17 year old son with a beer in his hand?”
No. Its your 17 year old son with a flavourless beer substitute in his hand.

  22. eddiepsetii says:

Yep! I mean, would drink it?

  23. HorniB*tch says:

email me. lets have a good time ;) mariamayela95@hotmail.com
Oral, Vag*nal, A$s, ill take it alll ;D

    I <3 8=====D

  24. teez says:

eh, is there an american beer that´s any good at all!?

don’t get upset, you might just name one you deem good ;D

i heard you got bitburger and warsteiner over there though..

  25. simon says:

who says the parent is kissing the child…from all i know it might even be an eskimo kiss…but even if it is a kiss, not that big a deal

  26. rbt says:

So the mom is the fail in this entire thing, right?
Or no wait, it’s the law in the US that prohibits alcohol usage below the age of 21, whereas 16-18 is a normal age, right?
Or no wait, it’s a fail because app. a lot of people are making a big deal out of it that a 17 y/o is having a beer, right?

I’m lost and ama confused, and I’m Dutch, so I guess my view on this is “clouded” or at least different, from the American point of view.

In the NL drinking age is 16 for everything under 15%, everything above 15% is for 18+.
Selling alcohol to an underage has a fine of EUR 900-3600
Drinking age in Germany is 16, and 18 for distilled alcohol, 14 when you’re with your parents.
In France children already get wine (water down (heavily)) at a young age, or at least it used to be that way.

You know what’s funny though, a few years ago I went to Paris, an American Business School, with a lot of Americans, some of them weren’t 21 yet, and to say it nicely, they couldn’t handle their alcohol very well. In fact, some were drinking for the first time there, and believe me, it’s not a pretty sight :P .

Ah well! if I type any longer the fail will be on me, right? :P

    ooi!

  27. Who's the fail now? says:

    “Natural Ice Light”?! Idiot.

  28. ... says:

I thought that said “I see a groundhog on the horizon” and it just didn’t make any sense to me…

  29. the guy says:

in Portugal none of them are underage, 16 year old limit FTW

  30. tina says:

I don’t see the big deal here…sure it’s underage drinking, but to be realistic – everybody’s done it and I wouldn’t ground my child for that…

  31. Charles says:

Grounding them for drinking lager would be a perfectly reasonable response.

  32. Nick says:

    thats not natty ice……

  33. Petethatmeat says:

I sense a brope coming on )orb epar(

  34. ENGLAND LAD says:

hahahahahahaha THEIR 17 and 20 and not allowed to drink! even those small beers! thats pathetic! in england you can but at 18 or 16 if you have it with a meal in a pub but theirs no laws for home drinking so you can when your like 5 if you want!

  35. Julz says:

Bottom line, anyone stupid enough to post pictures of themselves underage drinking, no matter what the drinking age is, really deserves a punishment, if for no other reason than being stupid. Same for people who post pictures of others underage drinking–maybe you would do it on purpose to get someone in trouble, but really, you are admitting that you let them drink underage.

  36. little miss sunshine says:

wow those guys look like douchebags

  37. I think I would be more concerned my son was a wigger than what he’s drinking

  38. anin says:

beer? that guys a lightwieght whisky all the way!!

  39. Seriously mom loosen up your grip a little… no wonder he wants a beer cause he has parents that would ground him for doing what every other person on the face of the earth does. everywhere except our country people are more mature about subtances like alcohol, pot, and other drugs. no wonder theres so many problems here cause this shit is such a big deal!

  40. Da Mamma says:

Whoa….17 & 20? You tell ‘em Momma; straighten those boys out now before it’s too late! Loosen up your grip on underage drinking? Seriously? Do you have any idea how many people are killed every year by under aged drinkers/drivers? Check it out before you spout off. Wait, let me guess…what are you…about 19? 22? Yeah, you’ll be talking like this when your 17 year daughter gets mowed down by some 19 year old stupid, brainless drunken driver. Give me strength. You go girl and tell him what it is all about. Don’t back down. Remember, love & commitment with consistency is what it takes to raise a real man in this world!

  41. Danee says:

that’s stupid. if he’s 20, he’s an adult. he can’t be grounded. besides, there are far worse things they could be doing beside drinking ‘Natural Ice Light’ beer. that is actually kinda of pathetic.

  42. noname says:

    Big LOL from Germany.

  43. will says:

i find it hilarious that a 20 year old can’t drink in america, that is a fail in itself!

  44. blake says:

who the hell drinks natty ice? they deserved to get caught for drinking that s**t

  45. MegaNerd18 says:

20 year old nephew grounding for drinking? But the legal drinking age is 19… oh wait that’s here in Canada.

  46. MEEEEE says:

It most definitely was not worth it. Natty Ice? Bad decision. Natty Light? Horrible decision.
