lolspeak was born (or maybe just named & expanded upon) on a site called I can haz cheezburger? It’s a site with funnily captioned pictures of animals, mainly cats. The lolspeak is supposed to represent the grammar & spelling that an animal would have if they spoke (or typed) English. The site is incredibly popular. They’ve even taken it so far as to re-write the entire bible in lolspeak as related to cats. Some of it is pretty funny stuff. I do agree that it gets annoying when people adopt it as their main way of typing.
It was mildly amusing at best when LOLcats came into being, but it’s seriously annoying now that it’s a joke that has been running for years. We get it, cats have bad grammar. Bible? Did not need to be rewritten. Honestly, if people put half the effort into ACTUAL grammar as they did creating LOLcats….

Yeah, I know some of it was easy to understand. I never heard of wagwan and invalid before, so that’s why I linked the definitions. Hopefully that helped. I love how this kid says ”you all need a larger vocabulary and speak english” yet he doesn’t even know how to spell.
