i honestly think that sara is being wayyy too harsh. it WOULD look stupid to have one charm being silver and the rest being gold. quite frankly, i think they’re both overreacting. no, she wouldn’t look like a homeless person, but it would look weird to have just 1 silver and the rest gold. hey, if you can afford it more power to you, but don’t be upset because of it. madison doesn’t sound like she tries to be a snob and obviously cares if she does

    • jamisings says:

So just buy more then one charm in silver. Silver and gold CAN and often ARE worn together.

    • annie says:

I agree these girls are both stupid! I have a charm bracelet with silver charms. Granted it’s not juicy, but it would look very stupid if I put one random gold one on my silver bracelet. I know that both colors can look great together in certain jewelry pieces, but not so much on a bracelet like that.
I didn’t think people really existed like that though, with that homeless comment… that’s sad… Fail for both girls. I’m assuming they’re around 12 or so…

      • trickster says:

But do people really pay that much attention to bracelets? I know I don’t. I guess it might bother the wearer, but it just seems so incredibly trivial whether or not one of the charms is the same colour as the rest.

        • heresay says:

Oh please. Madison is being a total brat. If she’d stopped at saying she was disappointed that there were no cute charms it would have been fine. But then she compared it with homelessness! Sara’s reaction is totally spot-on. Yeah mixing an overpriced fake silver charm onto a fake gold bracelet would be tacky, but comparing it to homelessness is rude and stupid.

Urge to kill… rising. A true facebook fail, indeed.

  3. HappyNat says:

What the hell is a Juicy Couture? And why does my mind go right to the gutter when I read it?

  4. Lissa Hyslop says:

I hate people like this. I was surrounded by a lot of them during High School. They gave me shit for being a ‘poor person’ just because I made my clothes last for 5 years rather than buying new outfits every weekend with Daddy’s credit card.

  5. Midas says:

TITANIC fail – there ARE both “gold” and “silver” charms. Tacky, multi-color enamel, (plated) brass charms. Oh. My. Gaudy. Grow up and buy real metal.

  6. Bruce says:

Mixing gold and silver jewelry along with differently patterned clothing are the two primary sins of the homeless.

  7. Sherry says:

People like this make me absolutely sick. She probably wouldn’t know a homeless person if they walked up and talked to her. I know, I’ve been homeless before- but I stayed clean, and my clothes were normal. No one knew except my family and me. And the way the economy has been, a lot of homeless people were middle class a couple of years ago.(And Bruce) Not everyone who’s homeless is dirty, wears filthy rags, and begs on the side of the streets.

  8. patricia says:

Sounds like a spoiled brat who gets everything she demands in life. “Like oh my gawd my life is ending because my bracelet’s gonna mismatch!!!” I wish that were my biggest concern in life.

    • Quinn says:

She uploaded this to FB you dipshit I highly doubt this is her biggest concern.

Not everything you write on FB is your biggest concern, is it?

  9. TomTomGee says:

I have to agree with Madison on this one– I used to wear so much gold until I saw homeless homey with lots…I mean lots… so now I switched to platinums and titaniums

  10. Veekee says:

Oh this is just sad….Madison you’re a disappointment.

  11. AnonyMouse says:

I really wish I was Madison’s mother. I would by her that damn silver charm and make her give the whole ‘ruined’ bracelet to the next homeless person we saw. God, teenagers! (and this is coming from a 20 year old)

  12. Faded says:

Because all grown women are totally like those worthless teenage airheads, right?

  13. king midas says:

Madison dind’t you know, every little charm you have on your bracelet, whatever it symbolises, you will never get in real life? because you manifested it into material and therefore it can’t float freely. you cant give it and you wont receive it. (omg, i hope this is the language that poor kid understands)

  14. TopHat says:

There’s nothing wrong with looking good!! You people are obviously too hickish to understand. Madison sounds like a very sexy fashionable girl. And who knows? maybe she buys her own Juicy Couture with her own money. I understand AMdison. It’s people like Sara that piss me off. (poor people hatin’ on the wealthy.)

    • Miss Fit says:

You aren’t fucking serious here, are you? “Poor people hating on the wealthy”? “Hickish”? Who do you think you are to say this shit? It has nothing to do with money here, dude. I don’t give a flying squirrel if that Madison girl buys her stuff with daddy’s money or her own. I couldn’t care less about the whole “silver and gold don’t go together”; if she doesn’t like it then that’s fine. It’s the whole “looking like a homeless person if I’ll do that”-part what puts me, and Sara, and a shitload of other people, rich or poor, off for very obvious reasons. It’s utter bullcrap, not to mention arrogant and ignorant, and you know it. So STFU and do something useful instead of wasting space and oxygen. Jesus Christ. [/rant against ignorant idiot]

      • TopHat says:

No. I’m completely serious. I hate poor people that complain about having no money. Work harder. Don’t punish success.

        • Miss Fit says:

Once again, you completely missed the point, asshat. Did you only read my first sentence or something? It’s not about the money. Not at all. For all I care, Madison could be filthy rich or piss poor. Neither do I give a fuck if she has bought the damn thing with her own money or her dad’s. And I could care even less about the question if it looks tacky or not – that’s a matter of taste, and differs from person to person.

It’s about being ignorant enough to compare oneself to a homeless person when “mixing gold with silver”. That’s utter bullcrap, and if you cannot even understand something that simple, you really are a lost cause. Although I have to say that I didn’t really have high hopes for you to begin with, when reading your first post.

        • your average neighborhood psycho says:

*sniff sniff* my troll senses are tingling.

  15. RuffTuff says:

It started when mommy named her Madison.

  16. Ariana Marie says:

    what a dumb broad

  17. Icanhascheezburgernewbie says:

I don’t even know what to say about this one.

Man, I’ve seen a few embarrassing pictures on this site, but this is one of the rare times I can actually say “Epic Fail”.

  18. ashiiya says:

WOW. There’s nothing wrong with have one silver thing amongst gold, it kind of makes it a nice centerpiece. I personally prefer silver over gold =___= but whatever. I’m sorry, but this made me kind of want her to die.

There’s a difference between being stylish and crap and being reasonable. A big one. I do like matching stuff and being stylish, but gold and silver don’t look bad at all, this girl needs a good punch. This is why I don’t want so much money and be rich. Granted, there are actually people with money out there who do good stuff with it like help poor people get food and clothes.

I don’t wear any jewelry at all, I suppose that makes me the biggest hobo of all time? And what about the real hobos out there? What does she call them then? Seriously…..I smh…..

  19. ceemoy says:

GUYS. This is obviously not the real reason she won’t wear the silver. Haven’t you heard of werewolves?

  20. jocouture says:

ok i have a silver juicy bracelet and i totally agree with her the gold charms look stupid on the silver bracelet, and u cant mix them it looks trashy and stupid, u guys obviously have no taste or even understand what it is

    • heresay says:

They’re not gold and silver, they’re just fake. And yeah it looks tacky to wear a single silver charm on a gold bracelet. But why can’t she just wait to buy it, is she forced to buy a tacky overpriced fake charm every month or something? What’s stupid is that she compared wearing a stupid fake bracelet with the serious issue of homelessness. What’s stupid is thinking wearing a fake overpriced goldtone bracelet with one silver charm is going to make someone look homeless. A lot of homeless people have a lot more taste to ever even buy Juicy even they could afford it.

    • TopHat says:

Amen to that. I completely agree with you. B^)

      • Da Frrit says:

        Heh, wow.

        Snobs of the world unite!

A bit of advice, ladies. It’s plastic costume jewelry. Talk about class and style when you’re sporting real gold an ice… or rather, when you get some actual style yourselves.

  21. Lori says:

I would never wear anything silver, doesnt make me a snob people have their preferences in jewelry, not that big of a deal people

    • Miss Fit says:

Are you stupid or did you just not read? The ‘Big Deal’ here isn’t about “Gold and Silver don’t match”. It’s got nothing to do with taste here – it’s about the last remark that Madison made, about looking like a homeless person. If she was serious there, it was an incredibly rude and ignorant comment. I sincerely pray that you can understand that much, or I don’t have much hope for you.

  22. Tornado Legs says:

LOL I actually know this girl.

  23. Scarecrow says:

You know, theres an easy way to settle this dispute… rainbow jewellery time!!!!! :D

  24. Schaffer says:

American youths,…. You put the Romans to shame with your vanity.

  25. Sandy says:

Ah, so refreshing to see parents educating their children with practicality and sound values.

  26. Sam says:

Ugh, everything Juicy Couture is just tacky. Unless you’re a suburban mom driving a Hummer, I guess. Then it’s just cliche.

  27. jade says:

    wow. just wow…
sounds like something my sister would say sadly.

  28. Hannah says:

    Holy shit you guys…

I think the girl complaing about charms is my best friend.

    *Checking to be sure…*

  29. Kristen says:

*weeps for the future of humanity*

  30. Katie says:

This girl, Madison, is in every single one of my classes. FML.

  31. emaN says:

All I can say is WOW
Am I the only one who thinks these comments are funnier than the original “Fail”?

  32. TEZ says:

Shoot, I agree. I prefer gold and I don’t like wearing both silver and gold at the same time.

Some people care about the details of their look, no big deal. In fact, everyone cares.

    • Chic says:

TEZ, it’s been said several times in the comments that it wasn’t her fashion sense that makes her attitude a fail, but the ignorant and rude comparison to homelessness.

  33. Irene says:

I don’t see anything wrong with it. She has a gold bracelet and maybe she also isn’t a fan of silver. It happens. I think yellow gold is ugly and would never wear it so I would be mad if a cute charm only came in yellow gold and not silver. Doesn’t make me spoiled. I just don’t like it.

  34. Victor says:

While I was reading this, all I could think of was Yukon Cornelius singing the Silver and Gold song.
@ anyone who had anything to say about this failure that didn’t point out the extreme callousness of Madison comparing her ‘troubles’ to that of the homeless: Your mindless consumerism is very amusing on slow work days.

  35. Hmmm says:

Interesting…two of my best friends are Caitlin and Madison and Sara is an old friend….it sounds oddly like them too…

  36. Noir says:

Madison is shallow. There was nothing in that post that illustrates Madison as a gold digger, unless you mean in the literal sense as in; she was digging for a gold charm in the store. To be a gold digger she’d have to be asking someone to buy her the charm or trying to get with someone just so they’d get her the charm in return.

  37. ColinsPixie says:

I like how Caitlin brings up the whole homeless thing :D

  38. bleep says:

    well there’s white gold

  39. Mag says:

I don’t see the big deal.
I have never heard of the brand they are talking about, but regardless; A golden charm whether silver or gold isn’t likely to cost a fortune.
You all sit on your high horses, but I’m sure none of you try to look like homeless people, so why should she?

  40. unkodave says:

    F.irst World Problems.
If you want it in gold then have it plated.

  41. Jae says:

Simple fix…. take daddy’s credit card and go buy a silver bracelet to match the silver charm.

I swear some people have no priorities, and seem to know nothing! I mean really? She’s comparing herself to a homeless person….
