Who cares what you call St. Patrick’s day in Ireland? It didn’t start in Ireland, it’s a Catholic feast day, celebrated everywhere, and St. Patrick was a Briton… and if it did matter what you called it in Ireland anyway, as if it was an Irish-festival as people thing, the more “correct” name would be Lá Fhéile Pádraig, so you’re probably calling it the wrong thing too.
