  1. Spelunker says:

/me wishes there was a report stupidity button

  2. JTR says:

The real fail is that this screenshot isn’t from facebook

    • Jami says:

Um, no. When it has a circle it’s a Seal Of Solomon or Solomon’s Seal. A special sign Solomon had on his ring that allowed him to trap demons.

So, yeah, the guy “carved” a symbol that will allow him to fight demons, not worship them.

    • JTR says:

      That’s the REAL fail

      • Anomyous8 says:

dude it doesnt have to be from facebook, it can be from any social interaction site

        • JTR says:

Oh sorry I thought the site only did facebook fails…. oh wait it acutally does say that it’s facebook fails

so why is it doing, not only fails from other sites, but REALLY old fails that everyone has seen before or at least have seen on another site?

The whole ICHCB Network trying to monopolize on the whole “funny internet images” thing is kinda like nickelodeon doing new shitty shows and spongebob all the time instead of sticking with the classics that made it great. What’s next? Will people on the internet think that pictures of people with “everyday objects” in peoples butts are funny? I can imagine ICHCB taking that idea and it’ll probably be called “People With Everyday Objects Stuck In Their Butt Blog”. I would definitely subscribe to that RSS

  3. Matt Oxley says:

The REAL REAL fail is that a 6 pointed star enclosed in a circle is called a hexagram and it is considered satanic in some circles.

The kid is still dumb, but he is correct.

  4. smithy says:

the real fail being he’s an emo satanist…
    who just wants attention

    • shauna rae says:

agree. Why the f*ck would you cut your arm. what if you had kids and they saw that they’d be as f*cked in the world as you are!! peoples stupidity really shocks me sometimes. you need therapy kid!!

      • Annabelle says:

omg I knoww..!! Okay who the hell would even post a pic of that? like seriously who in hell would wanna see that? and i bet its just a f*cking marker. that kid is an attention seeker..

  5. Jay Rowland says:

the circle doesn’t make it satanic. its still a hexagram which is most commonly used to symbolize the star of david http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hexagram the pentagram is more of what you are thinking of.

yes the hexagram is used in the occult as well, but thats not what first comes to mind when some one sees a hexagram… in my experience at least.

more than likely though this person was attempting to make the pentagram and was confused with which was more often associated with the occult. either way it looks like a fail :P

  6. Cayla H says:

I am seriously astounded that nobody realizes that the REAL fail here is the fact that this idiotic individual carved anything into their arm at all…The dumb ass mistake of symbolism just adds to it…C’mon people…

  7. Slavka Miroslavka says:

omfd this just cannot be true:DDD no, such a stupid people doesnt exist:DDDD oh shit, oh shit..

  8. Slavka Miroslavka says:

hey, if u will connct me, im gonna buy you drink or something :D (are u adult?)

  9. val says:

A right-side up star in a circle is called a pentacle and is not Satanic. I realize the star in the picture is 6 pointed and is also not Satain, I’m simply tired of people assuming a pentacle is Satanic.

    • Callum says:

The pentacle is deffo not satanic as “Satan” is a christian creation and as the pentacle does not symbolise christianity it really has nothing to do with satan. im sick of people seeing my chain and people assuming that im either a devil worshiper or a jew (the jew i laugh at tho bless) but the devil worship is actually quite offencive to me.

    • Jami says:

It’s because people keep confusing it with a pentagram, which is an inverted – upside down – pentacle. When it’s right side up it’s like a man standing with his arms and legs spread out and his head pointing towards Heaven. When it’s upside down the man’s head is pointed towards Hell. Which is what makes it Satanic.

I went through a stage in high school where I studied a bit on Wicca, Paganism, etc. That’s probably why I’ve come to the conclusion that all spiritual roads lead to the same God. Sadly, some people do chose to worship evil instead, thinking it’ll give them more power here on earth.

    • Smurffit says:

Pentagram pointing up = Not Satanic
      Pentagram pointing down = Satanic.

    • Joanna says:

The REAL fact of the matter is that “Satanism” unless it’s LUCIFERIAN (read: Lucifer) Satanism doesn’t even have to do with the Christian Satan. Satanism in itself is the LACK of god(s), and the worship of the self. Not demon worship, or the worship of the make-believe Christian character.

    • dan says:

actually you are wrong 2 a right side up star with the circle around it is called a pentagram not a pentacle. and it is not satanic. fyi i am a wiccan i know all this stuff

      • Healiethellama says:

What makes it a pentacle and not a pentagram is if it is displayed upon the person or not.

Pentacle = a 5-sided star enclosed within a circle worn on the body via necklace, tattoo, etc
Pentagram – = a 5-sided star enclosed within a circle that is seen anywhere else; on walls, in books, on the internet, etc.

While the upside-down pentagram has been associated with Satanism for a long time, it’s just that; a symbol. It has no real power over people; you won’t become demon possessed by putting it anywhere on your body, just like wearing a cross won’t make me Jesus-posessed.

  10. KaLu says:

First off, a pentagram is what i’d agree with Callum something that Christians converted from a pagan god worshiping symbol to a ‘satanic symbol’. Pentagrams were used symbolically in ancient Greece and Babylonia, and are used today as a symbol of faith by many Wiccans, so it doesn’t have the meaning that most people credit it for.

  11. Facebook User says:

THE FAIL IS THAT THE SYMBOL THE IDIOT CARVED INTO HIS ARM MEANT THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE OF WHAT HE WANTED IT TO MEAN, AND HE DIDN’T EVEN KNOW THE DIFFERENCE.

    END OF STORY.

(and if this says I’m posting as Shelley Johnson or whatever, I’m not, and I don’t know who she is, and I didn’t hack into her account but for some reason that’s what I’m logged in as. For that matter, I never actually logged in in the first place. If it doesn’t say I’m her, then ignore this)

  12. Haley says:

the first fail is that a pentagram isn’t satanic in the first place, but a sign of venus. secondly, it doesn’t matter what the symbol is, he’s a twit for cutting it into his arm.

    • Jami says:

Um, pentagrams are used by Satanists. Pentacles are used by Wiccans and Pagans. (Yes, there’s a difference. Trust me, most Pagans hate it when you confuse the two.) So yeah, pentagrams are Satanic.

      • Polina says:

I follow Wicca and a pentagram and pentacle are basically the same, except a pentagram is more commonly known as just a five pointed star whereas a pentacle almost always has a circle surrounding it,

  13. Danylo Jopko says:

The truly funny thing about this is I actually know the guy who did this as I have seen the scar on his arm. I’d like to say it’s not one of the smarter things he’s done, but then there are so few smart things to compare it to…

  14. Kat says:

The pentagram itself is not satanism. If it’s flipped upside down so that the top point is pointing downwards, THAT is satanism.

    Satanism =/= Wicca and Paganism.

  15. sabrina says:

    youre all fuckin dumb

  16. madi says:

uhh the five star is a pentacle and has nothing to do with satan…its a pagan symbol

    • Dio says:

A symbol only means what the person using intends it. The swaztika was used as a symbol of luck for several civilizations, the jews and japanese just to name a few. Then hilter took it and gave it a different meaning.

  17. saylor says:

    please listen to sabrina………

  18. Nechama says:

Regardless of the idiot getting his symbols mixed up, the title of this post is offensive and shows a clear lack of class. Think before you type.

  19. chris says:

WOW wtf! Ok first of all the kid is ever so slightly off his rocker and probly needs some meds for cutting anything into his arm!Second I just wanted to say that the only difference between a pentegram and a penticle is that the penticle is a pentgram with a circle around it. neither symbol is satanic although the inverted pentigram symbolizes matter and basic impulses over mind and has been used in satanism,”dark” magic etc. As far as the hexagram,it is used in ceremonial magic(seal of solomon), other aspects of the occult and obviously as the star of David so in reality it could in fact be a symbol this really screwed up kid sees as “satanic”. Still really dumb tho……

  20. Aileen says:

A few things are bothering me–

-Stars, with five, six, or any number of points, encircled or not, can represent MANY things in MANY systems of belief. The familiar five-pointed-upward-pointing-star-in-circle is used frequently by Wiccans, who often associate it with themselves, although it is one they adopted from earlier spiritualities. It is usually used by Wiccans to represent four corporeal elements plus an extra point for ‘spirit’ or ‘magic’ or similar ethereal element. This is also true in other belief systems, who may also use the star inverted. Solomon and some of his contemporaries also used five- and six-pointed stars to encode the names of the Judeo-Christian god (Tetragrammaton: JHVH) or names of prominent angelic spirits. Sometimes a six-pointed star is used with the additional two points representing the twin poles (dark and light) of spirit– or to represent the statement (common in many Western magical and religious texts)– ‘as above, so below’. But you could easily use it to represent your family members, the numbers of your birthdate, or a new set of elements.

-It is worth noting that most of the young, angry people who call themselves “Satanists” have very little idea of what mature and sensible people who consider themselves Satanists would describe as ‘Satanism’. It doesn’t include self-mutilation, animal sacrifice, or causing needless harm, to most Satanists, just for the record. The downward-pointing star is much more common in ‘left-hand path’ beliefs, more modern philosophical churches of Luciferianism, Demonalatry, Prometheanism, etc, who embrace or define the ‘dark spirit’ as a necessary component of ‘light spirit’….regardless of bigoted labelling, most of those people do not consider themselves ‘Satanists’ at all and therefore should not be considered such by others.

That is to say, if he’d carven an isosceles triangle on his arm and called it a ‘pagan triangle’ it would really be no more, or less, an accurate description.

That said, yeah, the kid is clearly an idiot as he’s sloppily cut a symbol into his skin without even knowing what it means. But worthy of failbooking? I really don’t think so.

  21. Stijn says:

    AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA

  22. Jesus says:

Judaism and Satanism is the same thing.

  23. Obi Wan Kinobe says:

That’s a hexagram, people. It’s one of the satanist symbols. The star of David doesn’t have a circle around it. A hexagram does.

  24. Polina says:

Can i just say that….even if he had carved in a pentagram that would not have been a sign of ‘satan worship’ because a some people know a pentagram is a symbol of protection from evil. An upside down pentagram is sometimes referred to a sign of satan but again, a symbol only has power if people believe in it. What he was “attempting” to do was draw a Pentagram and that is a pagan symbol, and as a common rule pagans don’t even believe in satan.

  25. Kathleen says:

It’s not even from Facebook, it’s from Bebo. LOL

  26. Kyle says:

La Veyan Satanism =/= Devil Worship
this kid is dumb, wiccans are dumb, vegans are dumb, and religion as a whole is dumb

  27. Mr.Doom says:

No one gives a crap about wether it’s a pentagram, hexogram, star of David or any other symbol, the point is that this kid is a pathetic teen who really needs to get some grip on reality. I’ve known loads of kids like this growing up. The sad thing is that they never really grow out of it, a shame really, it means they never realise their mistakes.

  28. Antion says:

He didn’t draw a 5 start pentagram/pentacle. So why you all going on about it? ¬_¬

He drew a star of David, and failed at life :)

  29. Maya says:

Pentagram has to be upside down, meaning 2 points are facing the sky, for it to be satinist. Just saying.

  30. Zabuza says:

The dumb ass just became a Jew hahaha

  31. Common Sense says:

Not to mention that the pentagram has NOTHING to do with the devil you bunch of f**king idiot emo/goths. Try reading once in a while

  32. Blake says:

They both fail. The pentagram has nothing to do with satanism…. It’s a sign of being Wiccan, secondly, The pentagram is supposed to be a sign of love and trust. little piece of info.

  33. w says:

its not satanic but it is a magic/kal symbol of the union of fire and water elements joined together. hexagram. not satanic, but could be used as such if your beliefs are aligned with such.

  34. Ðann says:

Yes because cutting yourself is totally badass.

  35. Castiel. says:

To be honest, they are both wrong – the star he meant to draw, is protection. Not satanism. So, he fails both ways. Way to rebel, kid.

  36. winchester says:

It’s not the Star of David if it’s inside a circle. It actually is a Satanic thing. And, a pentagram isn’t Satanic unless it has two points at the top.

  37. robert langdon says:

y just y and the pentagram is not only a satanic symble it is the symble of venise so HAHH

  38. Bernadotte says:

yeah…actually six points star inside a circle it is (indeed) a satanic symbol

  39. g33k4lyfe says:

  40. Ariesgirl75 says:
