“Spelt” is actually the British form of the verb of “spelled”. It’s a perfectly acceptable spelling; I can’t believe this actually got posted as a fail.
Yes I noticed that too and was wondering wtf everyone else was reading. Besides the fact that she’s missing a period at the end of the sentence, her statement was grammatically correct.
I applaud Hannah… people who do that make my eyes bleed… I mean, obviously as you can see I don’t think I have to write as perfectly as if it were an essay, but dear gods be legible…
lmao… how can people be so stupid as to type it like that… seriously people… learn to spell… but go to Hannah… if i had someone write something like that… i’d tell them they should be going back to primary school… cause you learn how to spell in first grade…
By the by: Using ellipses (those “…” things) is not acceptable as punctuation for the end of EVERY SINGLE SENTENCE in a paragraph. Try using grammar, especially when commenting on a grammar fail.
Who cares? It’s all about getting your point across…it’s not about using perfect grammar and spelling because who cares unless you’re writing an essay or a book? Get a life…there are better things to get preoccupied with.
It shouldn’t have to take you longer to understand the “creative” form of writing than to understand normal writing. Grammar and spelling doesn’t matter until it does.
Actually it only seems that way because our minds are able to connect the dots via a referential experience. It would be the equivalent of “j ss ppl” (je suis appele) to a non-francophone.
How Pointless Is This, There Is Nothing Wrong With My Grammer, And There Is Nothing Wrong With My Spelling, Whoever Posted This, Has Obviously No Life…
I posted this (I promise!) a while back and it was only bought to Chris’ attention today, reminding me of this.
It was not meant to be fail on Hannah’s part, as here in England “spelt” is correct – it was more to do with Hannah making fun of Chris and Andrea.
OMG people…it’s not about not knowing how to spell…I don’t know if you people realize this, but the internet it snot a formal place. You don’t NEED to use proper spelling and grammar…I sometimes write like that to some extent, I’m not gonna right an essay for school like that. And this has nothign to do with any foreshadowing for the future. Grammar Nazis piss me off
Language is used to communicate ideas to other people. Grammar and spelling make sure we can understand each other. We also use proper spacing so as to make it easy to follow one’s train of thought without getting lost.
I don’t intend any rudeness on my behalf, but you misused ‘right,’ whereas you used “right” it’s actually ‘write.’ You also misspelled ‘nothing.’ Maybe you should check over your comments before you post them, people will take you a lot more seriously if you do.
I know, right!? Where the hell did ‘spelt’ come from!? I was wondering that throughout the comments.
That being said, why is everyone getting their panties in such a bunch about grammar. It’s a necessary part in communications, thus we should- nay, MUST exercise it in order to not ‘trn nto fking rtrds.’
For a start, her punctuation on the first comment is incorrect, you NEVER use two exclamation marks. Also, I’m fairly certain the second comment has a grammatical error, it should be ‘spell correctly’ not ‘spell properly’. However, compared to the other two imbeciles, she is superior.
I mean, I understand that her spelling is better than the other two individuals, but she is aware that spelt is not actually a word right?
I guess, but she’s still pretty epic.
Arrivves frum thee fuecukture..badde nudes…speelin stild crappy…

In her defense, she did say she wanted to get back to school to _learn_ to spell.
… she looks like she needs a grammar lesson or two as well. :S

I thought it was posted as a fail because the chick was like, “Hy! Ths is def fail matrl hre, yu no thts fny!”
FAIL! LMAO.
You do realise that the word “spelt” is not actually listed in this particular post, right? She says “spell”.
Yes I noticed that too and was wondering wtf everyone else was reading. Besides the fact that she’s missing a period at the end of the sentence, her statement was grammatically correct.
Win Sgt. Fuzzy Boots
Spelt is an accepted word. And… to top it off, she didn’t even type “spelt”. She typed “spell”. Where did you get spelt from?
Spelt IS a word, here in the UK anyway. You guys say spelled, we usually say spelt.

Not a word my ass
Actually, SPELT is a word. It’s old english.
I believe Hannah is aware that it is indeed a real word.

It is.
I thought this was meant as a win for Hannah and a fail on the other two? If that is not how it was meant, then a fail on the submitter.
Dear lord, it took me three read-overs to realize that “skl” meant school. I thought they were initials for something. @_@
I thought it meant skiing at first.
For not knowing that “skl” meant school at first read through. You guys win!

Did you know “ellipses” is my favorite word? Of course you didn’t, you don’t know me. (But it is. I love you for using it. :] )
Win.
WIN!
I applaud Hannah and everyone else here who agrees with her.
As far as I can tell, her spelling and grammar are impeccable.
Well, she did forget a comma after ‘properly,’ but I won’t hold it against her.

You’re with the SS people!?
What’s an aslng? Is that short for ass-ling?
As long, from what I can tell.
I just thought i would tell you that “je suis appele” isn’t correct french. It is actually “je m’appelle”.
Hahaha Good one xD
Go Hanna, you spelt everything very well, the fail goes to the other dumbshits.

Seriously, you don’t like grammer nazis, get over it, not everything needs your fucking two cents.

That said, you are a fucking moron.

it snot? right? nothign? Looks like instead of hating them, you need to take a lesson from grammar and spelling Nazis.
Spelled S-P-E-L-L-E-D.
Hannah. I funking love you. Set me your hand in marriage. Enough said, ya dig!!??
Bwaahha!!
Spelt, huh?
where did she write “spelt?” all i see is “spell.”
I know, right!? Where the hell did ‘spelt’ come from!? I was wondering that throughout the comments.

THANK YOU!! I can only see ‘spell’. Everyone who saw otherwise is a f**king idiot.
Oh snap!
I love Hannah, she is my hero.
She may be able to spell, but she missed out a comma.

It should be: “So I can learn HOW to spell properly unlike you two.”
effing text speak is great untill you try to type up a resume. That said, why are we still commenting on such an old post?
